About Life begins at 52

Why 52? As we pass our half century we can be conscious of our lives changing.- children have grown up and left home, some of us begin to look forward to retirement. However it is not just a time of endings but of fresh opportunities. Our group is designed for anyone over 50 looking for friendship and social activities.

Why 52? Simply because the church building is number 52 Croham Road. Also “loving God, loving people” we believe that every age group is important and has value in the community.

We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month in the Church Hall (entrance in Moreton Road). We start at 10.30 with light refreshments and plenty of conversation. We then offer a range of activities which can include board games, craft sessions, Keep Fit (not too strenuous!) and more conversation! We share a light lunch and then get together for discussion or to listen to a visiting speaker.

So if you enjoy meeting people, good conversation and have passed the “golden 50” you are very welcome.
We look forward to getting to know you.
